It can be very stressful to read, on a computer/laptop, for long periods of time continuously. Primarily due to the size and nature of font, coupled with regular distractors like flash ads alongside the written material on the internet, the human eyes have to strain a lot to concentrate on the text especially when the duration exceeds beyond a certain length of time. Readability, an Arc90 Lab experiment, is a way forward in this direction. Readability is a bookmarklet that formats the text on the current page, strips all the distractive ads and presents it for comfortable reading. Being a bookmarklet, Readability is not confined to any single or group of browsers, like firefox, opera or interent explorer, that it works with.

Readability lets you personalize your reading experience by providing formatting options for background style, font, size and margin. After deciding between different options with the help of example text, simply drag the readability button to your browser's Bookmarks Toolbar. Now, every time you want to read a long piece of text on current page, just click on the Bookmarklet and text gets formatted to let your eyes read comfortably.
